From the founder

The journey of Juno.

A letter from the person who built this, about why it exists, and what I hope it does for you.

G'day, I'm Liam.

First — thank you for being curious about Juno. This started as a personal project, but my hope is that it becomes something we build together.

I grew up in a small country town in Australia, fascinated by how things worked: machines, the human body, the mind. That curiosity led me to study mechanical engineering and chemistry, and eventually to Bugatti, where I had the chance to work on some of the most extraordinary hypercars ever built.

Chasing that dream meant leaving home, my friends, and everything familiar to move across the world, alone, to Croatia. I didn't know the language, the culture, or a single soul. At first it was exhilarating: cutting-edge technology, brilliant minds, once-in-a-lifetime places. But beneath the surface, the isolation, the pressure, and my own relentless expectations started to wear me down in ways I never expected.

The one thing that kept me grounded? Journaling.

But here's the problem. I struggled with consistency and direction. Some weeks I wrote daily; other weeks I barely touched my journal. I had hundreds of entries but no way to track patterns, recognise triggers, or really understand how I was growing and changing. I was venting, not making sense of it.

"I wanted a journal that read back. One that noticed what I couldn't see when I was inside the week."

That's why I built Juno.

To turn journaling into something more than just writing. A space to reflect, process, and grow at your own pace. Juno isn't just a journal; it's a companion that helps you make sense of your thoughts, recognise emotional patterns, and gain clarity, whether you're looking for personal growth or just a moment of peace in a busy week.

It gives you structure when you need it, guidance when you're unsure, and a place to check in with yourself without judgement.

What I hope it does for you.

Now that I'm back in Australia, I realise that if journaling helped me through my toughest times, it can help others too. That's the mission behind Juno: to make self-reflection and emotional well-being more accessible, engaging, and supportive, so that anyone, whether they're working through challenges, setting goals, or just wanting to slow down, can find value in the simple act of writing.

You can write to me anytime at liam@juno-app.com. I read everything.
